Connection and Setup

How do I connect my miner to the pool?
Return to the home page and select the coin you would like to mine. On the top menu row, select "Connect". On that page it will show the correct address and port to use for your miner setting. It also shows some generic settings for GPU mining.
Do I need to register an account to mine?
Registration is not required. Just configure your miner according to our instructions and start mining. Your first submitted share will automatically register your wallet address with our pool for payments. Good Luck Mining!
Why is my reported hashrate zero or different from what my miner reports?
Pool and miner hash rates are recalculated every ten minutes. Therefore, it can take a maximum of ten minutes for your hashrate to update depending on the submission time of your first valid share. The hashrate we display at the pool is a rough approximation of your hashrate based on your submitted shares and can differ significantly from the hashrate displayed locally. When in doubt, always consider the value displayed by your miner as the correct one.

Mining

Can I mine one coin and get paid in another coin?
This pool is designed to only allow payment in the coin that you mine.
Can I mine to address on an exchange?
Technically you could do this, but most reputable exchange sites will ban you for doing this process. This pool is not responsible for lost coins, when using an exchange address for your miner’s setup.
Can I set my miner for a specific mining difficulty?
Yes, you can do it by inputting “d=difficulty-number” in the password field. When you use this it will by-pass the difficulty adjustment performed by the stratum of the pool.

Payments

How does PROP payment system work?
The PROP payment system rewards come from “rounds” – the time between one block found by the pool and the next. You are rewarded for the shares you submit in proportion to all shares submitted during each round. Shares reset at the beginning of each round. For example, if the shares you submit during a round account for 50% of the total shares, then your reward is 50% of the block reward.
How does PPLNS payment system work?
The payments of PPLNS are based on rounds just like in PROP. However, PPLNS does not consider the boundaries of the start of the round or previous rounds when selecting which shares will be considered. PPLNS works by selecting shares backwards starting from when a block is found and ending after shares add up to an amount called “N”, or the PPLNS "window". Typically, the network difficulty determines this N amount. Each miner is awarded proportionally from the shares that are selected by the PPLNS window. For example, if a miner's shares account for 50% of the shares in the PPLNS window, then the miner will receive 50% of the block reward.
When will I get paid?
With both of these payment systems, you won't see any balance in your account until a block has been found by the pool and after the block has reached a mature status. This may take a couple hours, depending on the coin. As soon as a block can be considered 'mature' by the pool, your shares will be used to calculate your contribution towards finding the block. The more you've contributed, the higher your cut of the block reward will be. Your cut of the block reward will then be credited to your pending balance. If your balance reaches or exceeds the pool's minimum payout amount, the pool will transfer your entire balance to your wallet and reset your pending balance to zero. The minimum payout for each pool is listed in its 'Pool Stats' area.
